The teased story is here, and I believe it's a good one! Clocking in at
514 images, I think there's a lot to enjoy here. Starring my favorite
tomboy, I hope you like this sci-fi robotic goodness.
Now, let's talk development! Yes, this is heavily based on the Eden
Club from "Detroit: Become Human." I think the setting for the club
is a pretty good fit for my works, and I've been thinking of doing
something based off it for a while now. But without a map to work in, I
was always putting off the idea. Eventually, though, I decided I wanted
to do so, and spent some time to cobble together a map that (I think)
truly looks great.
Additionally, there's some new flairs here in terms of storytelling.
Nothing crazy, but there are some unique shots that I wanted to try
out, and I think they came out quite nicely.
I will eventually release the scene data along with the clothing, likely
tomorrow. Just like my last big custom map, the E.S.M.C. marketplace,
I heavily recommend downloading the Koikatsu Post Processing
plugin. Helps balance the scene out, because without it, it's very glowy.
Also, this is a unique big chapter, because the story it tells isn't
finished yet! There was a part of me that wanted to release this story
as my first 1000 image post, but the more realistic part of me said that
wasn't gonna fly. In terms of file size, in terms of content droughts, and
in terms of keeping myself sane. Because a part of the reason that I
haven't been posting works or commissions is because in tandem with
this stuff, I do have schoolwork. Not fun.
And now for the bad news.
Let's talk another thing that might be sticking out to you- The
commissions. I haven't been keeping up with them, plain and simple.
For that, I apologize.
But I'll keep this brief and state that I think I'm undervaluing my work!
In comparison to other creators commission rates, mine is pretty
cheap. Tag along the fact that you get access to everything else I
make, and that I really would like to focus on making scenes and works
like this, and you know what? I think I need to raise my commission
prices again.
I'll make an official announcement later. I'll try my best to finish the
commissions I received this month, but, as I mentioned above, I much
prefer working on my own projects to commissioned work, so to adhere
to my promise at the beginning of the month, which is to provide
content for my benefactors, I'll be spending quite a bit of time
producing the follow up to this story, as well as other projects I have in
mind.
