In her role as a Women’s Studies professor, Juliette published a number of articles about women’s issues for prominent news outlets. A young fan of her writing contacted her to voice her admiration, and the two became involved in an online relationship. The girl’s father discovered the exchanges, including nude photos which Juliette had sent, and an invitation to stay at Juliette’s apartment during the summer. He decided to report this to the authorities. It was deemed in the public interest to publish Juliette’s photos online.
