アイデンティティ (Pixiv Fanbox)

お絵かきとは関係ないのですが、COVID-19の勢いでまだまだ安全に暮らすことが出来ない状態。元の世界には戻ることは無いのかな、新しい生活様式への変化とはこんなキッカケで到達するのかな。などと思いをめぐらせつつ、今日もイラスト下書きを進めます。

オリジナリティとはなにか。

絵師としてずっと持ち続けているテーマ。つまりアイデンティティ、絵を見たら作者が分かるというものですよね。私の描くキャラクターは、自分で愛してあげていますし、自分で他のイラストと見分けることが当たり前に出来ます。でも私以外でどこまでそれが通用するかというのは、わかりません。

特徴が少ないからといって無理やり特徴を設けるというのも、芸人が売れるまでキャラを変え続けるのと似ていて、私はあまり好きではないのです。描き続けていれば、いつか見つかるのでしょうか、今はまだぼんやりとしか見えておらずもどかしい状態です。

ロボを描きたい！獣人大好き！など、特徴を出しやすいものを描くのであればよかったのでしょうけど、私の場合、結構普通の女の子が描きたいのですよね。何気ない日常のワンシーンを自分のタッチで描く。

何を描くのだとしても、可愛いは正義。しばらくはこれだけを信じて突き進みます。

It's a theme that I've always had as a painter. In other words, if you look at the picture, you'll know the author. I love the characters I draw myself, and I can naturally distinguish them from other illustrations. But I don't know to what extent it can be used except for me.

I don't really like the idea of forcing people to change their characters just because they don't have many features. If I continue to draw, I wonder if I will find it someday, but now I can only see it vaguely and it is frustrating.

I want to draw a robot! I think it would have been nice if I could draw something that makes it easy to show characteristics, such as "I love animals," but in my case, I think an ordinary girl would like to draw it. Drawing casual everyday scenes with your own touch.

Whatever you draw, "cute is justice". For a while, I'll believe this and push on....
